About TL;DR News
What We Do
Every day at 7 AM, 4 PM, and 8 PM MST, our automated pipeline fetches the latest headlines from trusted news sources, analyzes sentiment, identifies key themes, and generates structured intelligence reports using AI. The result is a daily briefing that helps you stay informed without information overload.
Our Sources
We aggregate news from established outlets across five categories:
- World — BBC News
- Business — The Guardian
- Technology — The Verge
- Sports — ESPN
- Science — ScienceDaily
How It Works
Our pipeline is fully automated with no human editing. Each report goes through several stages: RSS feed collection, headline deduplication, sentiment analysis using the VADER lexicon, AI-powered report generation with key themes and future outlook, and finally publication as both interactive reports and static HTML pages.
What Each Report Includes
- Executive summary of the day's news
- Key themes identified across headlines
- Notable headlines with analysis of why they matter
- Sentiment analysis (positive, negative, neutral, or mixed)
- Future outlook with short-term and medium-term projections
- A daily roundup article synthesizing stories across all categories
Transparency
All reports are AI-generated and clearly labeled as such. We include confidence levels and caveats with every report. Our sentiment scores are computed algorithmically. We do not editorialize or inject opinion — our goal is to summarize and analyze, not to persuade.
Original source links are provided for every headline so you can always verify the underlying reporting.
